The PGA Annual lunches started as a single event in London in
the year 2000 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London in aid of the
PGA Benevolent Fund. The aim of the PGA Benevolent Fund is to
provide financial assistance to retired members in need.
Comuniq8 are engaged to work on behalf of the PGA to liaise with
the guests of honour ensuring all arrangements are in place at each
venue for the celebrities. Comuniq8 also work with the promoters of
the lunches Personal Touch events to provide auction and raffle
prizes for the fund raising efforts for each event.
The success of the initial event in 2000 has led to the
establishment of separate events around the country in Glasgow

Alliss for their respective services to broadcasting and the game
of golf.
