Comuniq8 Limited brought together the Motor Sports Association, the governing body for motor sports in the UK and the Scottish Government, through their events promotion team EventScotland to support the creation of a new International rally event in Scotland - the first such event in over 20 years.

We are now engaged as commercial consultants to the IMS with the brief to commercialise various aspects of the event as well as cordinating between the sponsors, the promoters and the TV broadcaster.

 The 2011 event was the third year of the initial contrcat period. Negotiations are underway for teh evnet to return to teh 2013 IRC calander.

The target audience for the event is Male aged 16 - 49 in the demographic group ABC1. Spectator numbers on the event for 2011 was over 25,000 over the 4 days of the event. TV audience figures for the series were in excess of 16m. Independant economic impact and media evaluation were measured at £1.5M and £2.15M respectively
